Does
i-schedule promote my products/services?
No. i-schedule provides services to all professionals and as
such cannot promote one more than the other. You are your best salesperson.
|
 |
Are
my clients more likely to show up with i-schedule?
For every appointment taken, a confirmation email is sent to
that client provide that he/she has a valid email address (all clients
registering through i-schedule need one, but you may enter clients
manually without an email address). The chances that a client is
a 'no show' are greatly diminished, but i-schedule cannot in any
way guaranty that a given client will respect his/her appointment.
|
 |
I
do not have a web site, can I still use i-schedule?
Yes. To use i-schedule, all you need is a computer and an Internet
connection. But for your clients to fully appreciate i-schedule,
a web site is the next step.
|
 |
Can
two persons take an appointment at the same time?
No. i-schedule is designed to confirm every appointment twice,
once upon selection and once more upon confirmation. Hence, if i-schedule
is your only tool for managing your appointments, than double booking
is effectively eliminated.
|
 |
How
can I install i-schedule on my web site?
We can do this for you, provided that we have access to your
web site through FTP settings. Or we can provide all the links and
artwork to your web site designer and he/she can get you up and
going in no time.
|
 |
What
happens if I forget my username or password?
Call us. We will confirm your identity than send you all the
information by email.
|
 |
Will
my clients' name be distributed on the web?
No. Any given client wanting to make an appointment will only
see, in your agenda, available timeslots or spaces marked 'reserved'.
No client's name is made available for other to see on the Internet.
But the client that has taken an appointment will see his/her name
in the client's version of i-schedule once he/she has logged in.
This will enable the client to change his/her appointment should
it be necessary.

I
have created my agenda but I want to modify it in part or all. How
do I proceed?
Select the days of the weeks that you want to modify and eliminate
them. Once this operation done, you will be able to reprogram your
agenda for that given time frame

What
is the logic behind blocking appointments 12, 24, 36 or 48 hours
in advance?
This function was included in i-schedule to allow a minimum of
12-hour commitment to your schedule. For example, let say you finish
at 6:00 p.m., you than check your virtual agenda to find out that
your first appointment the next day will be at 10:00 a.m. It would
be unfortunate if during the evening another client would program
an appointment at 9:00 a.m. the next day without you knowing about
it in time. Having said that, professionals may want a longer 'commitment'
period. Hence the 12, 24, 36 and 48 hours commitment.
|
 |
What
is the logic behind the 'period' function?
This function allows for changing appointment duration. If your
appointment time vary between 60 and 90 minutes; program your planner
in 30 minutes intervals with the possibilities of taking 2 or 3
periods.
